5 paintings done as a series earlier this year. at the time i was happy with these images but now feel they are a little over complexed. but i still stand proudly by them regardless of the issues they may have. i'm sure whatever i produce will always be a little difficult for me - i've always been my worse critic.

compromise will also be a difficult issue for me - to do what feels natural balanced with what is acceptable. the majority of images used from this series have been directly taken from google images. in particular "only arseholes and martha" has been very troubling for me. while painting it i was having major difficulty and over many layers and weeks realised it needed a certain rabbit in it. (i have a particular attachment to rabbits) this is the website of the artist i took it from
